Caribbean Dreams

Caribbean  Dreams
a new desire for color

The White Label indoor collection for spring/summer 2018 reflects the energetic, expressive colors of idyllic Caribbean islands with their tropical flair. Bright, intense colors shine in the gleaming light of sun, creating a pure feeling of summer that will invite you to close your eyes and dream:

the cool blues of the sea, the turquoise aqua tones of picturesque lagoons, the rich greens and olive shades of tropical plants, the flaming reds and pinks of beautiful petals, the intense yellows of the Caribbean sun, and the light sandy tones of breathtaking beaches create a summery look with Caribbean flair.

The light neutrality of cool silver and fresh white provide calm interludes.

Lightweight and casual fabrics highlight the relaxed summer look: naturally substantial fabrics like linen and cotton blends, with their rough textures and finishes, real silk with an irregular relief, coarse linen with special woven details and pure linen in solid colors, with floral embroidery or metallic finishes, are combined with bonded fabrics like suede bonded with scuba and bonded jerseys, with or without metallic finishes.

Patterned or printed jerseys with minimal designs, featuring honeycomb textures with Lurex details, stripes and lightweight cotton summer knits complete the collection.

Gingham is having a comeback, in plain or with subtle all-over embroidery. Summery tweeds in a fade-out Chanel look, multicolored or gingham, as well as various prints with exotic designs featuring flowers, leaves and hummingbirds as well as striped trims create focal points.

The new White Label indoor collection is set to impress with its wide range of silhouettes: newcomers include sporty blazers with decorative finishes and biker cuts, as well as “utility jackets”. Casual blousons and clean frock coats bring a touch of urbanity.

Chanel styles as boxy jackets, frock coats or dresses with decorative elements such as flounces, fringe, trim, lacing and elaborate patch details highlight the idea of “everyday couture”.

In the rustic country style, Alpine and frock coat silhouettes in stylish colorways dominate with plenty of new details and colorfully printed linings.

Basic shapes such as lightweight quilted summer jackets with metallic elements are ideal for between seasons thanks to their simple cuts.

Feminine blazers and dresses complete the collection.

The value of these pieces is always emphasized by innovative touches and plenty of attention to detail.
